Yesterday, March 2, 2013 started our day at the Timpanagos Temple with our Wasatch front children. Wonderful time at the Temple. With my "spiritual" camera I took a picture of Shelley and 3 of our 4 daughters sitting on a couch together in the Celestial Room, priceless!
Today is Sunday March 3, 2013. We will leave SLC at 3pm tomorrow with a layover in LA and then at 9pm start our trek to New Zealand. It's going to happen! We have murmured a little because our training was finished last Wednesday and we have just been reading and going to the Provo Temple. Well, today was payday! Just came back to our apartment after attending our Sacrament meeting. In the MTC they are held at 7:30am. Today was Fast Sunday. What a incredible and choice spiritual experience for us to hear these beautiful young Elders and Sisters bear their testimonies. We have no doubt these young missionaries have been held back for this historic time to serve. They are all so beatuiful and have the light that shines.
Attending the meeting and bearing their testimony were an Elder and Sister from NZ. The Sister's father is a Stake President in Wellington. The Elder is from a small branch on the North Island. was so great to visit with them.
We are so excited for you!!! I love that you are able to have a blog and keep us all involved in this awesome spiritual experience! I also love the picture from Tysons party, the look on Shelleys face is priceless! Love you guys so much, good luck in your travels. (I'm sure you will probably have your first baptism arranged before you even land in New Zealand)

ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing time for you and Mom. So amazing to all be in the temple together. It was so nice for me to have the extra couple days with you. No tears shed after Saturday! There is no better place you can be right now. We are all so proud of you!
